Dr. Holland Hayford

Dr. Holland Hayford is currently a psychology postdoctoral resident at FPA. She completed her Ph.D. in school psychology at the University of South Florida. At USF, Dr. Hayford engaged in multiple behavioral parent training projects, including PCIT, group-based parent training, and individualized parent training. Dr. Hayford also participated in school consultation, behavioral therapy interventions, and mental health treatments for children and adolescents. Dr. Hayford completed her predoctoral internship within the Autism Services Program at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Pennsylvania. While on internship, Dr. Hayford worked closely with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in school, home, and clinical settings. She provided mental health and behavioral therapy services to adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well, particularly regarding their self-advocacy and emotional regulation skills.
Dr. Hayford has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, ADHD, and other developmental concerns. She also has experience working with children and adolescents who present with emotional and behavioral concerns. Her primary areas of focus in treatment are promoting self-advocacy skills, emotional regulation, and positive behaviors across settings. Dr. Hayford takes a client-centered, cognitive-behavioral approach with clients and works to address behavior and mental health in a trauma-informed manner, with the client at the center of their treatment. Dr. Hayford is also certified in multiple parent training programs, including Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and she seeks to empower caregivers from all backgrounds.
Currently, Dr. Hayford is seeing clients for psychological evaluations and behavioral parenting training services.
