Dr. Kimberly Driscoll - Consulting Associate

Dr. Kimberly Driscoll is a licensed pediatric psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine at the Florida State University College of Medicine. Her primary research interests involve adherence to medical treatment regimens, with a focus on using technology to optimize adherence and health outcomes in type 1 diabetes. Dr. Driscoll received an NIH K23 Career Development Award aimed at providing longitudinal intervention to improve insulin pump adherence among adolescents.
Clinically, she serves as the Associate Director of the Florida State University Psychology Clinic and supervises clinical psychology graduate students who provide direct assessment and intervention to children and adults with psychological disorders. She teaches pediatric psychology seminars to undergraduate students and is a Doctoring small group co-facilitator and research mentor to medical students. Dr. Driscoll earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Florida State University. She completed her residency at Children’s Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota and her fellowship training at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center where she specialized in working with children with cystic fibrosis and their families.
