Kervin earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida State University and served as a Child Advocate/ Abuse Counselor with the Florida Department of Children and Families for three years. He received his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from the University of North Florida, serving as a member of UNF’s Women’s Center and a counseling intern at Jacksonville University.

 
Kervin primarily works with teens and adults utilizing manualized evidence-based treatment, with interventions from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. Kervin believes that therapy is a collaborative process where the focus should always be the client. Clients are encouraged to look back and identify areas of growth, process trauma, and gain the tools they need to achieve their goals.
 

You’ll find him seeing clients at out office in Fernandina during the week for individual therapy.
