Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling -

The State University of New York at Albany

Tina is a licensed mental health counselor in the states of, Georgia, Florida, and New York. She obtained her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from The State University of New York at Albany in 2015 and became licensed in 2017. Tina moved to the south in June of 2018 as her husband was stationed in Kings Bay, Georgia with the U.S. Navy.

During Tina’s time in New York, she worked as a school counselor, an EAP clinician, a behavioral health therapist at a program for adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses, and as a substance abuse counselor. Tina’s desire to help others continues to grow year by year as she enjoys lending an unbiased ear for others to come and receive support as they process daily struggles and hardships. Tina utilizes different techniques depending on her clients individual needs and pulls from all previous experiences and positions she has worked in.  Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues with her theoretical approach stemming from a person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy background including dialectical behavioral therapy techniques.

You will find Tina seeing her clients in at our office in Kingsland, GA during the week.
