Dr. Stephanie Ferrer, Psy.D.

Dr. Stephanie Ferrer is a licensed psychologist in the state of Florida. She completed her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Florida Institute of Technology with a focus in forensic psychology.

Dr. Ferrer completed her internship and postdoctoral residency at Northeast Florida State Hospital where she conducted forensic evaluations for individuals adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity as well as those receiving psychiatric treatment while deemed Incompetent to Proceed. Additionally, Dr. Ferrer provided individual and group therapy for individuals diagnosed with a severe mental illness, served as a member of a crisis stabilization team, and conducted comprehensive psychological evaluations.

After completing her postdoctoral residency, Dr. Ferrer remained at Northeast Florida State Hospital continuing to conduct forensic evaluations and provide psychological services. She also served as a primary supervisor on the internship committee, offering Forensic and Adult Severe Mental Illness rotations to predoctoral interns in addition to providing group supervision and didactic seminars. Dr. Ferrer also served as the Assistant Director of Internship Training for the APA accredited predoctoral internship program for several years.

Currently, Dr. Ferrer conducts comprehensive psychological evaluations for adults at Florida Psychological Associates and specializes in forensic evaluations, personality disorders, and severe mental illness.Type your paragraph here.
