Lisa has lived in the Jacksonville area for 27 years.  She graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 1994 and Nova Southeastern University with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling in 2006.  She has been a licensed mental health counselor since 2008.  Her previous experience includes 10 years of working with children and their families at the Child Guidance Center, 4 years of working with military members and their families on the Tricare contract as a behavioral health case manager, and several more years working with chronic and persistent mental health issues in other agency settings.  Lisa works with both children and adults and is skilled with research and evidence based therapeutic interventions including, but not limited to, mindfulness/yoga practice, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, play and art therapy techniques and trauma interventions.
