Michelle Murray is currently a registered intern with the state of Florida. She obtained her master’s degree from National Louis University majoring in clinical mental health counseling.  She attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate studies and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Family, Youth and Community sciences. Before completing her graduate studies, she worked as a child protective investigator for several years as well as a DV advocate a the local domestic violence shelter in Jacksonville, Florida. Upon completion of her master’s degree, she became employed at the Youth Crisis Center as a residential therapist working with at-risk youth. She has also worked with the Mental Health Resource Center as a mental health professional for the FACT team. As a mental health professional, she provided therapy/case management services for individuals with persistent mental health and co-occurring disorders. She truly enjoy working with clients of all backgrounds and prefer to take a person-centered approach. Her passion is assisting others in finding their strength and voice along their healing journey.
