Dr. Jennifer Lail is a clinical psychology postdoctoral resident.  She completed her PhD in clinical psychology at Fielding Graduate University where she participated in student governance, research ethics committees, and the New Immigrant Study.  Dr. Lail’s research interests include postpartum psychological care, childhood anxiety disorders, early childhood trauma related to education, health psychology, and reducing health disparities.

Dr. Lail completed her internship at Virginia Beach City Public Schools, where she completed comprehensive psychological evaluations of children, served on the special education committees of several schools, was a member of the crisis response team, and provided psychological services for preschoolers, elementary, and high school students. Dr. Lail has experience in neuropsychological, developmental disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, emotional, and behavioral disorders among children and adults.

Currently, Dr. Lail provides comprehensive psychological evaluations and provides evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), parent training, and behavioral management programs.
