Aly is a graduate of the University of North Florida where she received a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She previously attended the University of North Florida where she completed her undergraduate degree in psychology. In her undergraduate program she completed an internship at Early Head Start where she helped provide mental health support to families and children in crisis. She completed her year-long master’s internship at a private practice in Orange Park, Florida where she gained experience working with a variety of clients including clients dealing with trauma, substance use, and personality disorders.

She is passionate about working with Adults and Teenagers who have experienced trauma, are suffering from chronic pain/illness, or are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is a form of trauma therapy used to reduce the effects of trauma on clients. Aly uses a holistic approach to therapy and uses evidenced based modalities such as mindfulness, CBT, Schema, and EMDR to treat and support clients. Outside of work Aly enjoys reading, traveling, tending to her plants, and spending time with her dog Percy.
